Humble cable pattern with chart and written instructions

“Humble cables” is another pattern from pattern sheet with unknown date. Remember last Friday?

Like many others, this knitting pattern didn’t look much at first. Now I love it. I loved how it formed this simple, modest texture – just a hint of cables, yet enough to see the change.

It would be so nice pattern for white baby blanket. Maybe add some beautiful lace for edging and line it with some soft fabric.

Pattern repeat for this knitting pattern is 12 stitches + 4 stitches for both sides (+8 total)

NOTES

  • I used 24 stitch pattern repeat for chart below, so you could see the pattern forming.
  • You could use 2 stitches for both sides, but I would recommend at least 4, this way the pattern won’t “play” so much.
