how to crochet an elf

A week ago I found this very cool tutorial. Unfortunately it is in Russian. But this ain’t going to stop me – Google Translate and everything will be fine.

I have to say though, I’m not entirely sure that I got it all right, but as long as it works, I’m fine.

If you happen to know more translations for this pattern, let me know – maybe someone else was better than me.

I love these little guys. They are so adorable.

Did you do the whole he? Is the loop stitch just a chain stitch? What size needle did you use? I have purchased 3 colors of yarn, but find the directions a bit confusing. Going to jump in and see how it comes out. Thanks for sharing this cute pattern. Will let you know what happens.
