Big Project Monday“It’s here, it’s here, it’s here.” If you can imagine grown up woman shrieking and skipping from one foot to the other… That’s me when I got the notice that my yarn has arrived to post office.

Finally… That was a relief. I waited 2 weeks you know 🙂

If you saw my embarrassing first video (thanks for everyone who wrote me and said it wasn’t bad at all 😀 ) then you might know that I was very pleased. Which is actually understatement. I was ecstatic…

This yarn is everything I expected and more. It’s soft as my first born’s butt, light as a feather and has this glow like watching diamonds in the sun. Well, I might exaggerate a bit, but not much 🙂

Even my son held the yarn against his face and asked: “Mom, is it some different yarn this time?” And me, knowing the price… Well, let me just tell you that I’m not sorry at all 😀

In case you’re wondering then Post #1 about the project idea is here and Post #2 about planning is here. If you want to work along with me then be sure to check these out…

As I’m babbling about it – it’s Findley, 50% merino and 50% silk from Juniper Moon Farm. If you take a look at their site here then you’ll understand how hard it was for me to choose. Alright, I’m gonna stop chattering and show you some hard evidence of the divinity I’m in 😀

I don’t know but it’s more like lace weight… did a little online search – people suggest it is 2 ply
