Big Project Monday - Spring Shawl #6

I wasn’t too sure about the finishing edge. After all those twists and turns, this ending seemed too… looking for a better word… modest(?). But more I look at it, more I like it.

Maybe, just maybe… some nupps on the ending lace? Or not? Yes, it would be too much…

You know what?

I’ll give myself a week, try to finish writing this pattern, and see if I change the ending or not.

What do you think?

This edging is perfect. Your spring shawl is gorgeous. I hope that you have a lot of pleasure wearing it.

Thanks Susan, I do love how it turned out, because you never know – sometimes you see it in your mind one way, but it turns out totally another way… so I’m really glad it’s like it is 🙂

You’re welcome. Shawl is very beautiful. The color too is sensational. It reminds me of spring and summer blossoms.

I LOVE your top edging. it is beautiful and different from most. In fact, I love the whole Spring Shawl, except I am short and fluffy, so I tend not to like triangular shawls for I end up sitting on the tip and having to readjust every time I move and sometimes they aren’t long enough to wrap around and not feel like I need to stretch them more. I really like the braided edge. Very elegant.

Thanks, Sue 🙂 I have had requests for the crescent shaped shawls too, and I am thinking about it already…. but I can’t say anything more 🙂
