If you have problems, suggestions or proposals then I would love to hear from you! Ask a question. Or two.

Or maybe you want to work with me? Let me know.

Best way for you to do all that is by email: mariliis@patternduchess.com

It may take me some time to get back to you – two days max (weekends not included). If you haven’t heard from me then I would suggest you to write again, because I may have broken the internet (I know it’s possible and if it happens then I’m pretty sure it’s because of me).

Can’t wait for your email 🙂

Hello, I just had to drop a line off to you to let you know that your work is absolutely stunning, I do knit lace, but haven’t tackled yet the Estonian Lace. So I will be practising before I tackle one or two of your patterns. I am so impressed. Your work is knit and I sop enjoyed all your little comments gave me a chuckle or two…hahahaha.
i just wanted to ask, what is that color yarn? Ecru..Natural..? it’s beautiful and classy looking, if you can what yarn is it after all, because once I start to knit these patterns, I want to try and make it look polished and gorgeous..

Anyway, I just had to stop and let you know that I am an admirer of your hard work…so keep on knitting and telling your own stories, it adds so much for a reader to know that there is humor as well when knitting or crocheting…I do both as well..I hope to hear from you in the near future, I just LOVE that yarn!!! As I said, very classy and stunning.

    Regards,

    Kathleen

Thank you, Kathleen. What pattern do you mean? If you meant my latest scarves (Mother’s Day shawl and Shawl of Solitaire), then it would be DROPS Baby Merino and just pure white. Sometimes lighting play its games. I have found that this yarn is perfect for cables as well as lace. But I’m open to new suggestions though 🙂

Quick question on the cable knit slouchy hat with brim. For rows 31 and 63 – do you just literally knit together? How exactly did you do this? Could you just continue and not do row 31 as shown and then just fold up. Thanks for your help.

Hi Paulette. Yes you can knit and fold later – I don’t like sewing much so I literally just knit it together. If you don’t know how to do it then just don’t, it will cause more stress for you 🙂

My three things are, a day with my husband with no one else around. A chance to win the lottery because we sure could use some extra money. The Last thing is a wish that I could talk with my mother again if only a few minutes. But I know that is impossible because she passed away 13 years ago. My k sitting time is during the day while in between my crossing guard duties.
